Leasing Administrator / Administrative Assistant

Location: Baltimore City (two properties; primarily stationed at the busier site)
Schedule: Full-time | Every other Saturday
Compensation: Hourly + incentive opportunities for completed leases
Assignment: Temporary - strong performers may be considered for future permanent openings


About the Role

We are seeking a driven, high-energy Leasing Administrator / Administrative Assistant to support leasing and administrative functions across two residential properties in Baltimore City. This is a temporary role during a very busy season, and while it is not a guaranteed temp-to-hire position, the company regularly has openings and top performers will be strongly considered for future opportunities.

This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys engaging with people, and is motivated by goals and incentives. Property management experience is helpful but not required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors, answer phones, and serve as a professional first point of contact.
  • Conduct property tours and respond to leasing inquiries.
  • Enter applications, leases, and resident data into Yardi or Rent Café.
  • Prepare leasing paperwork, move-in packets, and assist with unit readiness.
  • Follow up with prospective residents via phone, email, and online platforms.
  • Maintain organized resident files and manage a high volume of paperwork.
  • Receive and log maintenance requests; communicate with the service team.
  • Assist with newsletters, resident communication, and community events.
  • Respond promptly to online leads and maintain accurate traffic logs.
  • Support resident relations and de-escalate issues professionally when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing guidelines.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (travel between two properties required).
  • Ability to work every other Saturday.
  • Comfort using office equipment (copiers, fax machines, printers).
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
  • Experience with Yardi or Rent Café preferred.
  • Background in customer service, leasing, hospitality, retail, or administrative support is a plus.

Additional Details

  • This is a temporary position, but exceptional performers will be considered for future full-time openings.
  • Final candidates will interview with the Property Manager before placement.
